FAQ
How do I get started with NDIS Plan Management?
Getting started with NDIS Plan Management is simple and offers a lot of flexibility tailored to your needs. There are three primary options for managing your NDIS funding:

1. Agency Managed (NDIA): The NDIA can manage your funding directly.
2. Self-Managed: You take control and manage your own funding yourself.

3. Plan Management Services: You can choose a Plan Manager and you can request additional funding specifically for this service, so it does not cost you anything. Further, plan management allows for more options in your NDIS plan to access both registered and unregistered service providers.

If you believe plan management is the right choice for you, you can simply fill in our Sign Up form today. If your NDIS plan doesn't already include funding for plan management, please inform NDIS staff that you'd like a plan manager to support you. They will guide you through the process, ensuring you have the necessary support tailored to your needs.
Can I switch to Plan Management if I'm currently managing my NDIS funds through another method?
Certainly! If you're currently using another management option and wish to switch to Plan Management, you have the flexibility to make this change either during your annual plan review or by simply requesting an unscheduled review anytime. This allows you to align your NDIS funding management with your specific preferences and needs. Whether you’re looking to change to plan management or in need of a new plan manager who offers more, we can help. If you believe plan management is the right choice for you, you can simply fill in our Sign up form today.
What if I need help to understand my NDIS budget or how my funds are being used?
If you have Questions about your NDIS budget, the allocation of your funds, or any financial concerns, simply reach out to us. We are here to assist you at every stage. We will provide clear explanations to ensure you maintain a clear understanding of your funding at all times.
How does the invoicing process work with Plan Management?
After you've received a service, your provider will send the invoice according to your preference, either directly to you or to us. If it comes to you, simply forward it our way. We'll then verify the details, ensuring alignment with your NDIS plan, and process the payment on your behalf. To maintain timely payments, we process all invoices within 24 hours.
Additionally, you will receive monthly reports from us showing details of how your are using your funds, the remaining funding, and any warnings if your forecast indicates potential overspending. This transparent reporting keeps you informed about your NDIS budget and expenditures.
Is it possible for me to select my own service providers if you are managing my plan?
Absolutely! One of the most important advantages of Plan Management is the flexibility it provides. You have the freedom to choose any service provider, whether they are NDIS-registered or not. Our responsibility is to take care of the financial aspects, ensuring your chosen providers receive timely payments from your NDIS funds.

What are not "NDIS supports"?

-
Day-to-Day Living Costs: Rent, mortgages, utility bills (water, gas, electricity), council rates. Standard household items like fridges, washing machines, and unmodified kitchen utensils. Home maintenance and improvements, such as fencing, pools, and standard renovations.
-
Finance & Payment-Related: Personal insurance (e.g., health, life, home insurance). Superannuation contributions, loan repayments, and fines. Tuition fees and legal costs.
-
Food & Groceries: Regular groceries and fast food services (except for some specialised meal preparation costs).
-
Lifestyle-Related: Recreational activities and equipment (e.g., gym memberships, tickets to events, and musical instruments). Smoking and gambling products, smartphones, internet plans, and standard electronic devices.
-
Clothing & Beauty Services: Non-modified clothing, jewelry, cosmetics, and hair treatments. Body art, such as tattoos and piercings.
-
Travel & Transport: Holiday-related costs, personal vehicle expenses, and airfares. Public transport fares and vehicle registration.
-
Pet-Related: Costs for pets (excluding NDIS-funded assistance animals).
-
Health, Wellness & Coaching: Alternative therapies like reiki, crystal healing, and aromatherapy. General health care, including hospital services, prescription medication, and post-surgical rehabilitation.
-
Childcare & Education: Standard school fees, uniforms, textbooks, and vocational education costs. Childcare fees, including after-school care and school camps.
-
Employment & Housing: Standard workplace adjustments and equipment for jobs. Rental bonds, mortgage assistance, and homelessness support.
The NDIS is not designed to cover costs that are part of everyday living or general health services unrelated to a participant's disability. For more detailed information on specific supports, visit the NDIS website or contact us,
